Precautions in the installation and care of PVC profiles:

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
PVC profiles are manufactured by extrusion and can be finished in plain or marbled colors. Plain colors are obtained by the application of colorants during the mixing of the pellets.
The marbled finish is obtained by coating the finished part with a decorated film. PVC profiles do not require special care during their service life.
However, the cleaning and laying rules that are common to all types of PVC profiles must be observed.
If the product is expected to be exposed to aggressive chemical agents during normal use, it should be checked beforehand for its suitability for the proposed use.

INSTALLATION
The elements commonly used in the laying of coverings and flooring, and therefore in the laying of profiles, become alkaline when they come into contact with humidity. We recommend immediate cleaning of the fixing materials to protect the piece against possible loss of appearance. In the event of residues of the installation remaining on the profile, it is possible that the appearance of it may be altered.
This cleaning is done by using a non-aggressive cloth or sponge (do not use scouring pads or other abrasive elements) moistened with clean water or even with some type of neutral soap. It is especially important not to use metallic or abrasive scouring pads, since they can scratch the proand alter its appearance. It is very important that the water is clean so as not to drag dissolved materials on the profile. Profiles should never be cleaned by applying strong acid or alkaline cleaners (commonly used to remove mortar and grout residues from ceramic tiles). Products such as trisodium phosphate, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, perchloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, fluorides in general, caustic soda and ammonia should never be applied. The application of solvents containing haloalkanes should also be avoided, as well as the use of setting accelerators containing chlorides (use chloride-free accelerators).

MAINTENANCE
As for the daily care of the profiles, they should be cleaned with lukewarm water and neutral detergent. As indicated in the previous paragraph, alkaline or acid detergents should not be used, nor should powder detergents or abrasive elements, which can scratch the product. Organic solvents should not be used.
*PVC profiles are recommended for use in indoor environments
